San Francisco butterflies are an elusive lot. I’ve roamed every inch of this small, urbanized county, looking for what remains - a surprising amount of discovery is still out there.  The net is rarely used, but it does have it’s place as a field tool.  I hope this to be a forum for what others see as well.

We are more famous for what is gone (Xerces Blue) than for what still breeds and lives here. I’m on a mission to change that.
